You are purchasing a bulk variety pack of 100+ Live Mixed Feeder Snails (Acute Pond & Ramshorn Snails). These snails were born and raised in my breeding room. They are raised on a varied diet of high-quality algae wafers and plant matter, ensuring fast growth, strong shells, and high nutritional value. These snails will ship in a flat rate box for 2 to 3 day shipping depending on your location. Please note that occasionally flat rate can take 4 days, but this is not common and is out of our control.
Shipping & DOA Policy
Shipping Days: Packages will always ship on Monday or Tuesday. We do this to ensure your livestock arrives safely in case of any issue with the post office. Please see the listing to confirm the shipping method for your order.
Excluded Locations: We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
DOA Policy: In the unfortunate event of a DOA — while a rare occurrence — please take a photo of the snails in an unopened bag within 2 hours of receiving your shipment. If the animals are deemed DOA, we will always refund the cost of the snails or offer you the same value toward another purchase. Shipping costs cannot be refunded. If the bags have been opened, the DOA policy is voided. We double bag everything we send.
After Arrival: If you have any questions about snail care or culturing, please ask before purchasing. Once the snails enter your tank, we are not responsible for uncycled tanks or improper animal care.
General Information — Mixed Feeder Snail Pack (Pond & Ramshorn Variety)
This mixed bulk pack features a healthy, dynamic combination of both Acute Pond Snails (Physella acuta) and Ramshorn Snails (Planorbidae). Because of their varying sizes, thinner shell structures, and rapid reproductive rates, this 100+ variety mix is the absolute ultimate live food source and enrichment package for specialized predators like Pea Puffers, Turtles, Loaches, and Crayfish.
The Ultimate Feeder Mix: Acute pond snails offer an incredibly quick, soft-shelled snack, while juvenile ramshorn snails provide a slightly different shape and a sturdier shell. This variety keeps your predators mentally stimulated, mimics their natural wild diet, and provides critical calcium for healthy shell-cracking and beak-wearing.
Instant Breeding Colony: Receiving 100+ snails gives you plenty of immediate food while providing an exceptional genetic foundation to kickstart your own home breeding culture. They reproduce rapidly at room temperature with basic feeding.
Tank Setup: They can survive in almost any aquatic environment. If maintaining a feeder culture tank, a simple sponge filter, some java moss, or floating plants will help them multiply rapidly.
Water Conditions: Extremely adaptable. They thrive in a pH of 7.0–8.0 and a wide temperature range between 65°F–80°F.
Diet: In a culture tank, they are excellent clean-up crews. They feed heavily on fish food flakes, algae wafers, decaying leaves, and film algae. The better they eat, the faster they reproduce!
Compatibility: Highly compatible with other livestock unless they are intended to be food. Do not place them into a main display aquarium unless you want them to establish a permanent population, as their reproduction rate is very high.
